  • Document Content: Your PDF files and any annotations, edits, or text added to them are processed locally in your browser's temporary memory. They are never uploaded to remote servers, cloud services, or third-party databases.

3. Permissions Usage

To function properly, InwellPDF Editor requests specific browser permissions. Below is how each permission is used:

  • contextMenus: Allows you to right-click on PDF links or files to open or edit them directly within the editor.
  • Host Permissions / activeTab: Used strictly to fetch and load the PDF document from the web page you select into the local editor interface. No data from other websites or open tabs is inspected or extracted.

4. Remote Code and Security

In full compliance with Chrome Web Store Manifest V3 guidelines:

  • InwellPDF Editor does not fetch or execute remote code, external scripts, or remote dependencies.
  • All scripts, UI components, and PDF rendering engines are bundled locally within the extension package installed on your machine.

5. Third-Party Services

Because InwellPDF Editor operates entirely offline/locally within your browser, it does not share, transfer, or sell any user data to third-party services, advertisers, or external platforms under any circumstances.
